Venezuela`s 2017 HBI production to reach 940,000 tonnes
Venezuela has increased its hot-briquette output year-on-year over January-October and aims to reach an output of 940,000 tonnes this year, the local Minister of Industry Juan Arias Palacio has told media. The sector is showing a positive economic performance, due to efforts to increase raw material production, the minister confirmed. This is happening in spite of the tense political situation in the country, Kallanish notes.
