Venezuelan steel industry increases 2015 exports on logistics upgrade
The Venezuelan steel industry expects to more than double the volume of its exports year-on-year to 8 million tonnes in 2015, Kallanish learns from the Venezuelan federation of chambers and associations of commerce, Federcamaras.
Between January and August 2015, exports of finished steel products reached 4.4mt compared to 3.6mt recorded in 2014. Exports of HBI totalled 292,771t.
