Vedanta steel sales increase, iron ore shipments soar

Electrosteel Steels reported a 6% on-year increase in sales in the second fiscal quarter through September (FQ2) to 283,000 tonnes, although margin slumped -75% to $23/tonne due to softening Indian steel prices.
