Vallourec's Serimax bags offshore contract in Norway
Serimax, a subsidiary of French tubes and pipes maker Vallourec specialising in offshore welding, has been awarded a welding pipeline contract by Technip for a major project in Norway.
This project makes Serimax the exclusive subcontractor for welding operations at Technip’s spoolbases and on board their S-lay vessels. This follows a strategic partnership signed earlier this year between the two companies, Vallourec says in a note obtained by Kallanish.
