Vallourec wins Middle East drill string contract
Tubemaker Vallourec tells Kallanish that it has booked an order from a Chinese OEM for the supply of drill strings for a contract in the Middle East.
The contract signed with Baoji Oilfield Machinery Co Ltd (BOMCO) is for the delivery of 12 drill strings in sour service grade steel (VM105 DP SSE) equipped with the tubemaker’s VAM Express connections. The contract value was not disclosed.
