Vallourec signs tube supply deal for Gulf project
Tube producer Vallourec has inked a contract with Hess Corporation for its Stampede deepwater drilling project in the Gulf of Mexico, Kallanish learns from a company release.
The contract covers 5,000 tons of OCTG and 9,000 tons of seamless line pipe, to be sourced from its mills in Ohio and Europe.
The majority of the project’s connections will be threaded by Vallourec subsidiary VAM USA in Houston, Texas.
