Vallourec reports growing sales in Middle East
French pipemaker Vallourec reported increased Asia and Middle East revenue by 58.2% on-year to €224 million ($230m) in the third quarter, which accounts for 17.5% of the company's overall Q3 sales, Kallanish notes.
Continued positive OCTG price dynamics observed in the Middle East and ongoing volume recovery are expected in the coming quarters, with a progressive recovery in pricing power, says Vallourec in its third-quarter financial report.
