Valin Xianggang successfully trials continuous caster
Hunan Valin Xiangtan Iron & Steel (Xianggang) successfully trialled its continuous billet caster on 9 July, Kallanish notes.
Xianggang aims to improve billet, bar and wire rod quality and has invested CNY 280 million ($40.76 million) in the construction of the five-strand concaster machine.
