Valin Steel’s output surges in August
Valin Steel, a Hunan Valin Group subsidiary, reported an increase in output of most products in August, Kallanish notes.
Valin Steel produced 1.76 million tonnes of iron, 2.28mt of crude steel and 2.21mt of finished steel, and sold 2.26mt of finished steel. This was down -0.6% for iron, but up 2.2%, 5.7% and 8.1% month-on-month respectively for the following three indicators.
