Valin Steel starts blast furnace maintenance
Valin Steel in China’s Hunan province has decided to start maintenance on a 1,080-cubic-metre blast furnace in March. Meanwhile both its production and sales volumes declined only slightly in February from January, according to a company announcement on 9 March, Kallanish notes.
