Valin Steel increases production in January
Output at Valin Steel grew in January as maintenance on its No.2 2,580-cubic-metre blast furnace was completed early in the month, according to the steelmaker’s latest operational report monitored by Kallanish.
The company’s iron, steel and finished steel production increased month-on-month by 16.4%, 17.7% and 14.5%, reaching 1.7 million tonnes, 2.13mt and 1.97mt respectively.
