Vale's Middle East iron ore shipments surge
Brazilian-headquartered Vale’s iron ore and pellet shipments in the Middle East surged 66% on-year in the third quarter to 3.57 million tonnes. This was also up 82% on Q1. The region accounted for 3.64% of Vale’s consolidated Q3 shipments compared to 2.39% in the year-earlier quarter.
