Vale ore carrier goes missing in the Atlantic
South Korea’s Polaris Shipping, Stellar Daisy vessel is feared to have sunk in the Atlantic Ocean on 2 April around1,500 miles from the Uruguayan coast. 22 of the 24 crew members are missing, Kallanish learns from both Brazilian and Korean authorities.
The very large ore carrier (VLOC) Stellar Daisy was en-route from Brazil with 260,000 tonnes of iron ore destined to China.
