Brazil iron ore export volumes continue to recover
Brazil continued to increase its iron ore and pellet exports month-on-month in June after Vale resumed more production after the halts following the Brumadinho dam rupture in January. Exports however were still well down on those in the first half of 2018, according to Sindicato Nacional da Indústria da Extração de Ferro e Metais Básicos (Sinferbase) data monitored by Kallanish.
