Vale was aware of Brumadinho dam weaknesses: experts
Brazil’s Vale had knowledge of the weaknesses in the Brumadinho dam since 2003, according to the final report by the Extraordinary Independent Consulting Committee (CIAE-A) monitored by Kallanish. The CIAE-A was constituted by the miner`s Board of directors to investigate the causes and responsibilities of the rupture of Dam I, at the Córrego de Feijão mine.
