Vale to maintain activity at Itabira complex
Brazilian miner Vale says that will continue operations at the Itabira Iron Ore Complex, after having obtained a favourable decision in a lawsuit, Kallanish learns from the company. On 27 May, the Regional Labour Superintendent in Minas Gerais halted all activities at the site after denouncing the miner for not complying with the Covid-19 preventive measures implemented by the authorities amid the accelerating spread of the coronavirus in Itabira.
