Vale moves ahead with plant commissioning at S11D
Brazilian miner Vale has begun the testing of its buffer stockyard machinery in the Carajás S11D Iron Project located in the Pará state, Northern Brazil, the company tell Kallanish.
The company has now tested the twin boom stacker, with a reach in excess of 70 metres. The remaining pieces of equipment, three bridge reclaimers and two twin boom stackers, are currently undergoing operational testing, Vale says.
