Vale temporarily halts disposal of Itabiruçu dam tailings
Brazil’s Vale says it has temporarily suspended the disposal of tailings at its Itabiruçu dam in the Itabira Complex as from 21 October, Kallanish learns from the miner. The measure will be in force while conducting assessments of the geotechnical characteristics of the structure.
