Vale to resume Vargem Grande operations
A decision by the National Mining Agency (ANM) on 23 June has allowed Brazilian miner Vale to resume operations at its Vargem Grande complex, the company tells Kallanish.
“The decision will enable the partial resumption of dry processing operations at the unit within 24 hours and is set to increase production of iron ore by an additional 5 million tonnes in 2019,” says Vale.
