Vale to restart Onça Puma mining in January
Brazil's Vale is anticipating the resumption of mining operations at its nickel complex at Onça Puma, in Pará state as from January 2020, according to the miner`s latest presentation monitored by Kallanish. The ramp-up is set to take six months, Vale says.
"The ramp-up period is not seen as a bottleneck due to the ore stockpiles that can be concomitantly fed to the smelter," the miner adds.
