Vale gets provisional operating license for Brucutu mine
Brazilian miner Vale will resume operations at its Brucutu iron ore mine and the Laranjeiras tailings dam in next 72 hours, the company has announced. This follows the miner having received provisional operating license approval from the Brazilian Secretariat of Environment, Secretaria de Estado de Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento Sustentável (SEMAD), Kallanish notes.
