Vale Oman pellet production declines in first quarter
Brazil-headquartered mining company Vale’s Oman facility saw iron ore pellet production decline in the first quarter by 36% on-quarter and 5.4% on-year to 1.71 million tonnes, from 2.68mt in Q4 2022 and 1.81mt in Q1 2022, Kallanish notes.
