Vale Oman pellet output falls in third quarter
Vale’s Oman-based iron ore pelletising plant saw production decline -7% on-year in the third quarter to 2.42 million tonnes. This was also down -2% on-quarter.
In the nine months through September pellet output fell -1% on-year to 6.84mt. This compared to a 2.4% on-year growth after six months.
