Vale Oman third-quarter pellet output declines
In the third quarter, Brazilian miner Vale's wholly-owned Oman subsidiary saw iron ore pellet production decrease by 6.3% on-year to 2.62 million tonnes from 2.8mt in Q3 2022. However, this was flat against Q2 2023, Kallanish observes.
January-September pellet output at 6.96mt was down 3.8% compared to last year.
