Vale names Schvartsman as new ceo
Vale's board of directors has elected Fabio Schvartsman as the new ceo, the company says in a statement.
Schvartsman will replace Murilo Ferreira as ceo after the company announced at the end of February that the latter will not be renewing his contract expiring in May 2017 (see Kallanish 27 February). Ferreira has been the iron ore miner’s ceo since May 2011.
