Vale Mid-East pellet shipments rise 12%
Vale’s iron ore and pellet shipments in the Middle East rose 12% on-year to 1.9 million tonnes. This comprised 2.4% of the Brazilian miner’s consolidated iron ore sales compared to 2.3% in the year-earlier quarter. Compared to Q4 2016, however, Middle Eastern shipments slumped -32%.
