Vale increases iron ore output in third quarter
Brazil’s Vale saw higher year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter iron ore output it says in its third quarter 2016 production report sent to Kallanish. Pellet output remained broadly stable on the same comparison.
The miner’s production estimate for the full year of 2016 is of an annual supply in the lower end of the 340-350 million tonnes guidance range for 2016. This remains unchanged from the company’s view forward at the end of Q216.
