Vale temporarily halts operations at Viga concentration plant
Brazilian miner Vale says that it has temporarily halted operations at its Viga iron ore mine's concentration plant, Kallanish notes. This happens after the miner identified an "… inconsistency" in the documents related to the operation permit from the municipality of Jeceaba in Minas Gerais. The mine belongs to Ferrous Resources, recently acquired by Vale.
