Vale foresees pellet output increase, Sao Luis restart
Vale plans to produce 49 million tonnes of iron ore pellet in 2017, up 7% on-year. Production at its Sao Luis pellet plant is scheduled to be resumed in 2018 to meet rising pellet demand according to Roberto Gottschalk, Vale’s Iron Ore Sales Director for Europe, Americas, MENA and India.
