Vale confirms January start-up for S11D commercial ops
Brazil’s Vale has obtained its operating licence for the S11D iron ore mine and plant in the Canaã dos Carajás, in the south eastern state of Pará, the miner tells Kallanish. This is the largest iron ore project in the company’s history and brings a potential 90 million tonnes/year of processed iron ore capacity to the global market.
