Vale, BHP to share liability in Samarco lawsuits
Brazil's Vale says it has reached an agreement with BHP Group concerning group action proceedings in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands over Samarco’s Fundão Dam collapse in 2015. Under the agreement, BHP will withdraw the contribution claim filed in the UK, Kallanish understands.
