Vale warns of rupture risk at another dam
Brazilian Vale says that has detected movement on the northern slope of a pit at its Gongo Soco mine in Barão de Cocais in Minas Gerais, the miner tells Kallanish. The company immediately informed the competent authorities and the region's population about the situation of the pit and at the Sul Superior dam, which is approximately 1.5km from the mining area. Sul Superior Dam has been at alert level 3 since 22 March.
