USW, USS head back to the bargaining table
The United Steelworkers labour union and US Steel will resume negotiations on 27 September, Kallanish learns from a company update.
The USW says both parties “… remain far apart on key issues.”
USW members at US Steel and ArcelorMittal facilities have been working under the terms of their previous contract since it expired on 1 September. The USW remains locked out of Allegheny Technologies Inc facilities.
