USW praises plate trade case, calls for action
The United Steelworkers labour union is applauding the filing of an anti-dumping and countervailing duties trade case on cut-to-length plate, Kallanish understands from a union release.
The case was initiated by ArcelorMittal USA, Nucor and SSAB and targets 12 countries-of-origin – including Brazil, China, South Korea and Turkey.
The producers allege dumping margins ranging from 6.53-244.19%.
