USSK hikes offers €100 on costly energy, inflation
US Steel Kosice (USSK) says it will increase offers for all spot orders of flat-rolled products for October rolling by €100/tonne ($100) as a result of skyrocketing energy prices and record-breaking levels of inflation.
“There are no signs that this trend will ease any time soon,” the Slovakian steelmaker says in a note sent to Kallanish.
Other European steelmakers have been communicating since last week their intention to raise coil offers …
