USSK foresees weaker third quarter, positive safeguard effect
U.S. Steel expects performance in its European segment to decline in the third quarter due to planned outages that coincide with seasonal demand patterns. U.S. Steel Kosice (USSK) saw flat on-year sales in Q2 at 1.16 million net tons.
