USSK anticipates lower profitability after first-quarter sales slump

US Steel says “…commercial headwinds” will be the primary driver for reduced Ebitda going forward at its Slovakian steelworks. US Steel Kosice (USSK) reported a -25% on-year slump in deliveries in the first quarter to 801,000 net tons.
