US Steel repairs Clairton fire damage
US Steel has completed repairs to its Clairton, Pennsylvania, coke plant’s desulferisation unit following an electrical fire that took place early 17 June.
The fire briefly took the unit offline before it was extinguished, Kallanish notes. No injuries or lasting damage to the facility resulted, the company says.
