USS investigates new Clairton fire damage
US Steel is in the process of assessing damage from a fire that struck its Clairton, Pennsylvania, coke works early Monday morning, Kallanish learns from a company statement.
The fire began “...on an electrical breaker panel impacting power to the by-products facility of our Clairton plant,” the company says, adding that the fire caused no injuries and was quickly put out.
