USS, DOL settle injury reporting lawsuit
US Steel and the US Department of Labor (DOL) have settled a lawsuit regarding injury reporting protocol, Kallanish reports.
The DOL brought a suit against US Steel in early 2016 based on an Occuptional Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) complaint. The lawsuit alleged that US Steel punished three of its United Steelworkers (USW) employees in 2014 for failing to report minor injuries in a timely fashion.
