Usiminas raises steel prices for September
Brazil’s Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais (Usiminas) is set to raise prices again for its domestic flat products, the steelmaker tells Kallanish. This is the second time in two months that the steelmaker has done so.
In a note the company says that it will hike the prices of all products to its distribution network by 13.1% as from 1 September. This is due to rising prices in the international market, the steelmaker says.
