US will not sunset stainless rod duties

After a five-year sunset review, the US International Trade Commission has voted to maintain antidumping duties on stainless steel wire rod from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, Kallanish reports. The ITC determined that removing the duties would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of injury to the domestic market, therefore the duties will be kept in place for at least another five years.
