US tubular producers hike prices on strong orders
Due to rapidly increasing sheet prices, welded tube producers in the US are hiking prices.
After raising prices by $150/short ton on 8 March, Nucor Tubular Products notified customers on 14 March that it will further increase prices by $200/st due to “rising raw material costs and strong demand.” The increase applies to all new orders for HSS, pipe, mechanical and piling products.
