US trade group praises Supreme Court 232 pass
The American Iron and Steel Institute is cheering a decision by the US Supreme Court to effectively table a challenge to the Trump administration’s Section 232 tariffs, Kallanish reports.
US steel importers petitioned the Supreme Court to weigh in on the constitutionality of the Section 232 tariffs, following approvals by lower courts. The Supreme Court has declined to hear the case, which leaves the decisions of the lower courts intact.
