US supports Turkish July CR flats exports rise
Turkish cold rolled (CR) flat steel exports increased 35.6% year-on-year to 28,522 tonnes in July on the back of a surge in shipments to the US. The average value/tonne of these exports plunged to $831/t from $1,378/t a year ago, Kallanish calculates from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
On a month-on-month basis, however, Turkey's CR flats exports went down -19.6% in July.
