US supports Turkey's January cold-rolled flats exports rise
Turkish cold-rolled (CR) flat steel exports climbed 2.2% year-on-year in January. The surge in shipments to the US compensated for lower exports to Europe, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
January's exports volume came in at 29,303 tonnes. The overall average value/tonne of these exports rose to $876/t from $865/t a year earlier.
