US steel shipments down in February
US steel shipments fell from January to February but remained up year on year, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
February shipments were about 6.939 million short tons, down 1.3% from January but up 0.2% from February 2015.
Year-to-date shipments stand at 13.97m st, down 4.9% from the equivalent period last year.
