US Steel sees employment hope in Trump administration
US Steel ceo Mario Longhi says the incoming administration of President-elect Donald Trump could spark a major rebuilding period for domestic steel industry employment, Kallanish reports.
In a clarifying statement regarding comments Longhi made on a national news program, US Steel says up to 10,000 of the 16,000 jobs lost industry-wide since January as a result of unfair trade can be expected to return as a result of more stringent trade enforcement.
