US Steel to reduce headcount at Lorain
US Steel plans to indefinitely lay off 33 of its production and maintenance employees at its Lorain, Ohio, tubular works, Kallanish learns from local media reports.
Citing union leaders and required notices, the reports say that about half of the affected employees will be regular production crew and half will be from the maintenance pool.
