US Steel quarterly shipments, selling prices decline on-year
US Steel's flat-rolled, mini mill and tubular shipments all decreased, as did average selling prices, in the second quarter of 2024 as compared with Q2 of 2023, Kallanish reports.
Second-quarter flat rolled shipments were 204,500 short tons, compared with 223,500st in the year-earlier quarter. Mini mill shipments fell year-on-year to 56,200st from 58,700st, and tubular shipments dropped to 10,900st from 11,100st.
